We are actively involved in trade promotion in the North East and have recently set up a North East Trade Promotion Cell. Our director is also a member of the Indo-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industries and the India Trade Promotion Organisation. He received the 2001 Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Ekta Award. This award was given in recognition of his projects on direct foreign investment into the North East and for community service.
We provide facilities and consultancy services for young entrepreneurs and traders from Europe,South-east Asia and from other states of India who wish to engage in trading (retail and wholesale) in the north east.
We have partnerships with event organizers to create events that promote different aspects of trading. These events can be fashion shows, wholesale expos, retail expos, trade fairs and product-specific exhibitions in some of the prominent areas of the region. |
